La semana pasada fue el IDM (International Designers Mexico) en la ciudad de México. Con el  concepto clave de "El triunfo es la belleza" el martes inicio la cuarta edición de este evento en el cual participaron diseñadores nacionales e internacionales mostrando sus colecciones para otoño-invierno 2011.... 

 Last week the IDM (International Designers Mexico) took place in Mexico City. With the key concept of "Beauty is the triumph" the fourth edition of this event started on Thursday with the collaboration of national and international designers that showed their collections for fall-winter 2011....

  

El IDM se caracteriza por impulsar año con año a dos nuevos talentos de la moda en su desfile inaugural: NIDM (New International Designers Mexico) siendo así, una increíble plataforma para jóvenes diseñadores mexicanos. Este año el NIDM presentó las colecciones de Uriel Urban y de Isaac Rankuroi.

The IDM is well known for supporting new talents in fashion every year on the opening runway: NIDM (New International Designers Mexico), being this a great impulse for young Mexican designers. This year the NIDM presented the collections of Uriel Urban and Isaac Rankuroi.

Uriel Urban con una pasarela enteramente tribal, con rasgos prehispánicos y pieles como elemento principal de sus siluetas definidas y ajustadas.

Uriel Urban with an entirely tribal parade of the pre-hispanic culture, taking leather as a main element throughout his defined and adjusted silhouettes.

Con un excelente manejo de la sastrería en la silueta femenina, Isaac Rankuroi nos deslumbró con su colección titulada "Ses amis imaginaires"(sus amigos imaginarios) llena de elegantes siluetas, impecable calidad y gran imaginación.

With an excellent cut on the feminine figure, Isaac Rankuroi astonished us trough his collection named "Ses amis imaginaires" (her imaginary friends) filled with elegant silhouettes, impeccable quality and great ideas.

Presentando su colección "Harapos", Ramiro Vera nos mostró siluetas unisex, compuestas por prendas con acabados "destructurados" y una paleta neutra con fuertes destellos de morado intenso. Un look urbano e informal que definitivamente nos será muy fácil de adoptar para la próxima temporada.

Presenting his collection "Harapos", Ramiro Vera showed us unisex silhouettes, with destroyed-like finished garments and a neutral palette of colors and bright touches of intense purple. An urban and informal look that will definitely be very useful and adoptable for this next season.

Una pasarela de ensueño para las amantes de la vida nocturna, los minivestidos, el negro y los inmensos tacones. Detalles increíbles en todo el look, desde los explosivos peinados y las medias rasgadas con bordados, hasta las incrustaciones de pluma y cristales en los zapatos. Las transparencias aparecieron a lo largo de todo el desfile.

A dream-like runway for night life lovers, the mini-dresses, black and huge high heels. Incredible details on the hole outfits; from the explosive hairstyles and destroyed tights with embroideries to the crystals and feathers on the shoes. The transparencies appeared all along the catwalk.

Siempre destacando por su originalidad y retomando elementos de nuestra cultura mexicana, Marvyn y Quetzal nos presenta una colección llena de color, relajada y con cortes holgados. Una pasarela increíblemente acompañada por la música electrónica de Natalia Lafourcade.

Always emphasizing on its originality and taking elements from the Mexican culture, Marvin y Quetzal presented us a relaxed and casual collection filled with color and comfortable cuts. An incredible runway in company of Natalia Lafourcade's electronic music.
